LadyByrd, Im so proud of you for embracing everything you went through. It takes a strong woman to do what your doing now and it also takes a strong person to be where you are by being so open about your status, your kids just everything. Just know that you are an inspiration to me and I'll continue to look up to you. Thanks for all that you do for our community and others.

As your pen pal in Teach's college course, I recall you telling me that you did some public speaking. I think you're a very brave young lady. Taking a public stand against HIV can be a scary proposition... I'm glad you haven't allow HIV to define who you are and I applaude your committment to telling others perhaps giving them the courage they need to get tested and to face the results whatever they may be. I wish you great success and long life.
